Watford looked bound for a great escape earlier this season as Nigel Pearson took charge and led them on a charge off the bottom of the Premier League table, but a couple of short months later and the Hornets find their confidence dwindling yet again.

The Reds won 3-0 at Vicarage Road last season (below) and are unbeaten on their last three visits. Watford’s last win over them was a 3-0 home triumph five years ago, with Odion Ighalo hitting a double. Liverpool have won to nil in each of their last four meetings with Watford.
